Tête-à-Tête featuring Jontyle Robinson, Ph.D.

Tête-à-Tête is a series of intimate conversations with artists, alumnae, and arts leaders who have helped shape the Spelman College Collection.

Jontyle Robinson is a Clark Atlanta University alumna and the curator of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art’s first exhibition, Bearing Witness: Contemporary Works by Black Women Artists (1996). She recounts the details of this important moment in the Museum’s history and shares her experiences shepherding a major gift of African Art while engaging with artists Herman Kofi Bailey and Beverly Buchanan.
