Spelman College Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees has ultimate responsibility for the property, business and affairs of Spelman College. Its functions include electing the President of the College and other officers of the Board, setting basic educational and fiscal policy for the College, authorizing the granting of degrees, granting tenure and promotion upon recommendation of the President, and enacting bylaws and other necessary regulations.
